One such thing is CRM Diagnostics, already pre-built into CRM 2013. You can access it by navigating to:

Running a test is as simple as clicking on the Run button. All results are cleanly displayed, and details can be either saved or emailed directly.
While it’s by no means an exhaustive set of performance tests, this can come in handy for high level environment checks.
