Tip: Calculated and Rollup fields on Currency

So, you’ve created your Calculated or Rollup field. It’s using Currency fields to perform the calculation or rollup. You check and double-check it, and the definition looks good.

Yet, on the forms, it does not show a value. What is the cause?

If your record Currency field is hidden, make sure to show it on the form. You might find that the Currency field is not filled-in.

As soon as you populate the Currency for the record, you will find the the values will start to populate correctly.
